Realm also helps clients through the site selection process. You can sign with Realm at any stage of the buildout, but we recommend doing so as early as possible so we can advise you on what to look for in a site.

No. Many clients choose to pay their deposit after they submit a Letter of Intent (LOI), but you may choose to pay before, since your onboarding meeting with your account manager won't begin until after you pay.

Once you sign your proposal, you will be introduced to your account manager by email. If you have opted to pay after submitting a signed Letter of Intent, your account manager will follow up with you regularly to see how the site search is going and if there's anything Realm can assist with. Once you pay, an onboarding video call will be scheduled with your account manager.

During the onboarding phase, Realm needs to collect your site package. This includes photos of the existing space, a preferred vendors list, as-built drawings, electrical/gas details, and HVAC/water heater equipment information.

During onboarding, and throughout the entire buildout process, your account manager will be your main point of contact.

There's no set timeline for onboarding. Some franchisees come in with a space already in mind, while others are still looking. In some cases, a space is found, but the field verification call determines it doesn't have what's necessary.

During your onboarding call, you'll receive a guidebook that includes Realm's full team. You'll be introduced to them as needed throughout the buildout process, but your account manager remains your main point of contact.

In your onboarding call, you will get access to your ClickUp board. Here you'll be able to see what phase your buildout is in, what upcoming steps need to be done, and other important site information and updates.

Before your test-fit phase can begin, you'll need to complete a site documentation call with a remote Realm project manager. You'll take this video call on-site at your proposed location, using a laser measure tool we send you, to measure and gather the utility and equipment information of the space together. If the site documentation determines the space is a good fit, you'll move on to your test-fit.

Site documentation is a Realm-added step to protect you from paying for a test-fit on a property that isn't going to work. Keep in mind, this isn't a guarantee, it improves your odds of a successful test-fit, but the space can still come back as not a match. Without Realm, you could measure and evaluate the utilities and equipment on your own, but Realm brings the expertise and knowledge of what to look out for to save you time and money.
